about Chelsey Austin
My name is CHELSEY AUSTIN and I'm from a small town in Texas located about an hour north of Dallas.
I've been singing since I was a kid and started performing at Johnnie High's Country Music Revue in Ft. Worth when I was 14, but I really wanted to sing rock and blues. I just never got the chance until I met Guy Houston. I had no idea he was a retired rock drummer and producer.
Long story short, we talked, he auditioned me and decided to produce my first CD. Phil York agreed to do the recording and he has 3 Grammy's so he knows what he's doing. I owe both of theml alot for having faith in me.
The album is called Download This and it rocks pretty hard, but there are some pop songs on it too. You can hear a couple of songs here at jukeboxalive or hear all the songs at my website, www.chelseyaustin.com.

If you do buy my CD or even just an mp3 or two, I truly appreciate it, but for me this isn't about making money. Fact is, I'd give the CD away if I could, but if it wasn't for the people at Scarwinds I wouldn't even have a CD, so I guess its only fair that they charge something for it.
Still, what matters most to me is that my music gets heard by lots of people and that they like it, whether they buy it or not. So I sincerely hope that you will like my music enough to turn your friends on to it too.

As you can see I'm not some big star with thousands of friends and fans on here but I hope that will change someday. I've only played live at Johnnie High's so far, and since those people are really country fans, I'm starting over with a completely new audience now.

June 12th at 4:24amI finally put up some recordings. They're crude though, and I don't even have a music recording/editing program. I just used you Sonic!RecordNow Music Editor, or SOMETHING like that . . . I don't really know!
